He is an attorney, he is a CEO, and now he is the host of The Ugo Lord Show. Ugo Lord has dedicated his life towards achieving his highest potential. After winning the coveted “Best Junior Actor” iPOP award at the age of 14, he set his sights on becoming an advocate for those who felt they didn’t have a voice.
Ugo Lord became a Trial By Peers counselor representing juveniles charged with misdemeanor offenses. Without losing a single case, he went on to teach future peer counselors ultimately winning him the award for most favored peer counselor instructor.
Ugo Lord continued to represent young adults through both radio and television broadcasting. After being chosen by his peers to represent them, Ugo tackled challenging issues pressing younger generations at the Sun Youth Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada. He debated hot button controversial issues such as immigration, homelessness, sexuality, peer pressure, and several other extraordinarily challenging issues facing today’s youth. He continued on to debate these issues at summits across the nation and was honored to be chosen to speak at the Martin Luther King Summit in Nevada.
After graduating from College of Southern Nevada High School and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Ugo Lord is proud to consider himself a Nevadan. As president of his chapter, he represented Nevada as the first and only Nevadan to win first place at the National Future Business Leaders of America public speaking competition. Always devoting himself to the Las Vegas community, Ugo has donated countless numbers of hours towards community service. Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid awarded Ugo Lord with a distinction for outstanding community service excellence.
Fueling the passion within him to be an advocate for others, Ugo Lord was accepted to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law as the youngest enrolled law student where he graduated at the top of his class. During his first year of law school, Ugo won first place in Loyola’s moot court competition. He was also elected by his peers to become their representative for the public interest law group, an organization dedicated to providing the highest quality legal services to low-income individuals in order to combat illegal and unjust actions directed against them.
Armed with his legal knowledge, Ugo Lord created and currently owns Derek Lord LLC which owns and operates entities such as Everyday Black FridayTM and Lord ProductionsTM.
